Lifelong Learning and Extension:

Lifelong Learning and Extension dept. has been running in college on Self finance basis, as much parallel to National Service Scheme. This dept. has been newly created by University of Mumbai, to provide youth based activities, like personality development, leadership training, adult education, population education, awareness programmes, Child labour, Female Foeticide, woman empowerment. The Unit enrolls above 50 students with student manager. The projects are given on the individual basis to complete, the students are awarded with 10  extra marks, and with a certificate at the end of the year.  The course is for one year. Since inception  the college is conducting all activities in spirit of its soul under One year by Prof. V. T. Khatale. And now by programme coordinator Dr. Vijay  Shinde.

Objectives:

  • To sensitize students to the social issues like AIDS, population education, Girl Feticide.
  • To expose student to pollution problems,.
  • To conduct surveys, collect information, write project.
  • To encourage adult education.
  • To conserve environment.
  • To develop student personality, leadership, stage daring, communication skills.
  • To provide platform for other parts of the country to the student.
  • The unit aims to conserve water, health related issues and inculcate hard work culture among the students
