About Department:
The department of Marathi was started in the college right from the beginning of the college in 1983. The specialization in Marathi was started in 1997-98 with six units. During the same academic year our students were stood first in the University of Mumbai. Our Department is organizing various activities for the linguistic development of the students like essay writing, literary club, poster presentation, collection of various articles, poems, etc. Our department is preserving various culture and languages of tribal backward areas. All faculty members of our department are well experienced and qualified as per the norms of University of Mumbai & UGC.

Marathi with 6 Papers.
Marathi 3 Papers + Rural Development 3 Papers.
