About Department:
The Department of Economics has been established in 1983, and has been studied at F.Y.B.A./B.COM., S.Y.B.A./B.COM. level. In 1994-95 started T.Y.B.COM. and 1997-98-T.Y.B.A. three Unit under the Department. Academic year 2013-14 department has started the (Six Unit) Special Economics at B.A Level.
Dr. P. M. Bhagade has been working as a Vice-Principal of the college and instrumental in various Programm, interaction and decision making. He has worked as a member of various administrative committees. Dr. Vijay S. Shinde has worked as an Extension Teacher of Lifelong learning and Extension Department University of Mumbai, College Exam Coordinator. He was instrumental in organizing and smooth conducting of various College programs and Research publications. The students of our Department have been actively participated in Sports, NSS Cultural activities and Lifelong learning an Extension Department at University level and College Level. Student’s progress is evaluation under revised examination pattern framed by University of Mumbai. The College conducts Unit test, Seminar, Home Assignments and Group Discussion, Guest lecturers, Essay Competition Study tours and Field visits. The Department also conducts remedial coaching classes and arranges guest lecturers regularly for academically poor students.
